The Atlanta Council of Younger Lawyers Section Offers CLE for a Cause

Every Monday during the Atlanta Council of Younger Lawyers Section's Associates’ Campaign for Legal Services, our beneficiary organizations will offer CLE sessions so you can learn more about them and gain skills to volunteer.  Each CLE will be in a low-cost brown bag lunch format - bring your own lunch and pay the reporting fees ($5 per CLE hour, plus $15 per hour if Professionalism credit is offered). Attendance is limited to 20, so please register in advance. Contributions to the Associates' Campaign will be accepted at each CLE.

Listen to What Your Client Is Saying: The Importance of Building Good Client Relationships

Location: Bondurant, Mixson & Elmore
1201 West Peachtree Street
One Atlantic Center Concourse Level conference room
Atlanta, GA 30309

The Georgia Innocence Project works very closely with men and women trying to prove their innocence. One of the lessons that law students interning with GIP learn is the importance of not just listening to our client, but truly hearing what they say.

While building a relationship with your client will definitely help avoid problems during the course of representation, the more important result from building a good rapport may be actually winning your case!

So come ready to listen - you may like what you hear.
