Advising Nonprofits How to Make Money and Grant Money

Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta hosts this practical law seminar to help prepare transactional attorneys to undertake three specific pro bono contracts matters for nonprofit organizations. This seminar will provide an overview of the general corporate structure of nonprofit corporations in Georgia, describe the basic tax rules for §501(c)(3)  tax-exempt organizations, and then delve in the detailed laws, regulations and cases regarding corporate sponsorship, cause marketing/co-venture agreements and international grant agreements.  Using sample agreements, the speakers will provide suggestions and advice for drafting these types of contracts. By the end of the seminar, transactional attorneys will be ready to assist §501(c)(3)  tax-exempt organizations with drafting these contracts.





Due to space limitations, advance registration and payment are required.

Pay-at-door registrations are not available for any session.
