King v Burwell and Michigan v. EPA: Re-examining Statutory Interpretation Principles for Environmental Lawyers  
The most anticipated and controversial decisions of the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent term turned on sometimes sharply divided readings of statutes.  Statutory interpretation is a core skill or art for environmental lawyers.  This program will review the guidance the justices shared in these significant cases and discuss how we might expect the Court’s analyses to influence the work of the federal and state tribunals before which we practice.
