CLE: 3 CLE Hours, including 1 Professionalism Hour


The Labor & Employment Law Section, in conjunction with Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta, hosts this “nuts and bolts” employment law seminar to help prepare local practitioners for volunteer opportunities with PBPA. The seminar will cover general employment laws affecting non-profit organizations, including guidance on classification of workers as independent contractors, employees, interns or volunteers; proper compensation of employees and volunteers under the Fair Labor Standards Act; and the creation or review of employee and volunteer handbooks.





Due to space limitations, advance registration and payment are required.

Pay-at-door registrations are not available for any session.
