The Uniform Commercial Code effects virtually all commercial, business and real estate transactions. From security interests in property and investment contacts to notes, guarantees and leases of equipment and the sales of goods, the UCC’s detailed provisions have a material impact on the work of transactional lawyers and the advice they give their clients. Developments under the many articles of the UCC are continual and though seemingly small in individual cases can and do have a substantial impact in the aggregate. Led by one of the nation’s foremost experts on the UCC, this program will provide transactional counsel with a practical guide to significant UCC developments impacting commercial, business and real estate transactions.

• Recent UCC developments for transactional attorneys
• Developments impacting commercial, business and real estate transactions
• UCC Article 9, asset-based transactions and secured transactions
• Sales of goods contracts in an electronic age
• Equipment leases, including computer equipment and capital equipment
• Notes, guarantees and letters of credit
• Investment contracts
• Developments related to agency
