CLE: 3.85 CLE Hours, including 1 Professionalism Hour

GAIN’s Asylum Project pairs volunteer attorneys with applicants who are seeking asylum.  Opportunities for attorneys and paralegals include case preparation, brief writing, legal research, collecting country and human rights reports, as well as more involved proceedings in the U.S. Immigration Court. Training includes information on the asylum process, the challenges in representing asylum seekers and how to effectively represent immigrants when filing for asylum.  Distinguished speakers from the Immigration Court, Department of Homeland Security and Private Immigration attorneys are presenting during this training.





Due to space limitations, advance registration and payment are required.

Pay-at-door registrations are not available for any session.
