The Intellectual Property Section of the Atlanta Bar Association and the Georgia State University College of Law are seeking nominations for the 2018 Most Innovative Corporate IP Law Department Award. This award honors the IP law departments in Metro Atlanta that are tackling the challenges of managing intellectual property by utilizing new and cutting-edge methods. This innovation can relate to intellectual property prosecution, litigation, portfolio management or any other aspect of intellectual property.

The winning law departments will be introduced by their nominators and honored at the 14th annual SpringPosium Intellectual Property Conference. SpringPosium will be held on April 27-28, 2018, at Lanier Islands Resort.

To nominate an IP law department, please complete the attached nomination form and include your narrative describing why your nominee is the most innovative corporate IP law department.

The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, March 2. Please feel free to include web links to any additional materials you believe will help us evaluate your nominee. These can be articles, blog posts, etc.

The nominations will be reviewed by the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Bar Association Intellectual Property Section. Finalists will be announced in March with the winners revealed at SpringPosium.

All in-house counsel receive complimentary registration for SpringPosium and each winning law department receives one complimentary room at Lanier Islands Resort for the conference.

We look forward to your submissions!
