The ABA has revised the Model Rules to include Technology Amendments to address the requirement for lawyers to use technology competently and to maintain confidentiality by using reasonable efforts to prevent inadvertent or unauthorized disclosure. Determining whether appropriate practices were followed is very fact dependent, and what the courts and ABA consider to be best practices will be discussed at this CLE.

Greg Heller is the Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of the Atlanta Braves.
In this post, he manages and oversees all legal affairs for the Major League Baseball team and its wholly owned minor league affiliates that includes the Gwinnett Braves, the Mississippi Braves, the Rome Braves and the Danville Braves. Mr. Heller’s responsibilities and duties include providing guidance and counsel on baseball operations matters, sales and marketing, broadcasting, stadium and business operations, intellectual property, corporate governance, legislative affairs, employment and litigation. He also has oversight for all legal issues related to SunTrust Park and the Braves’ mixed-use development – The Battery Atlanta – a vibrant mixed-use and entertainment district adjacent to SunTrust Park.
