6.3 CLE hours, including 1.3 Ethics hours

Wage and hour litigation remains steady in the courts, and is on the rise in arbitration. Attorneys, as well as human resources and compliance personnel must keep up to date on the latest legal developments and litigation trends, have knowledge of the nuances of paying employees correctly under state and federal law, and understand the pros and cons of arbitration agreements and class action waivers. For litigators, it is essential to understand and analyze discovery and certification issues in prosecuting or defending a class or collective actions, and to recognize potential ethical issues in settling and obtaining court approval of wage and hour matters.

This full day program brings together nationally recognized employer and employee advocates, prominent in-house counsel, federal judges and the most senior government enforcement agency official (invited) who will provide timely updates and share their perspectives, insights and experiences.

What you will learn
