CLE: 7 CLE Hours, including 1 Professionalism Hour

Catholic Charities represents children and adults in removal proceedings before the Atlanta Immigration Court, before USCIS in family based and humanitarian immigration matters, and before Georgia Juvenile Courts in dependency matters.  This presentation will primarily cover the immigration forms of relief for children and their families, with a special focus on Special Immigrant Juvenile visas and obtaining the necessary Juvenile Court order in Georgia. We will also discuss representing children before Immigration Court and the special rules that apply to unaccompanied children applying for asylum, as well as the new deferred action programs.





Due to space limitations, advance registration and payment are required.

Pay-at-door registrations are not available for any session.
