Presented by: Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation (AVLF)

CLE: 5 CLE Hours, including 1 Professionalism Hour

The weak economy has stressed poor families on every front, especially for renters who make up nearly 50% of Fulton County residents. AVLF’s volunteers provide legal assistance in several substantive areas that are critical to the self-sufficiency of low-income people, the most common of which are landlord-tenant disputes.  This program will focus on the critical issues in tenant advocacy, including security deposit disputes, illegal evictions, and addressing deplorable conditions and failures to repair – all with the goal of ensuring safe and secure housing.

Due to space limitations, advance registration and payment are required.

Pay-at-door registrations are not available for any session.

Allowed attendees: Attorneys, Law Students, Paralegals and Legal Support Staff

Registration Fees:
Atlanta Bar Members - $45
Non-Members - $95
Law Student Members - $5
Law Student Non-Members - $10
