2 CLE hours, including 2 Ethics hours

This program is designed to provide attorneys with an understanding of ethical duties arising in discovery, including obligations impacting investigations and litigation.   Particular emphasis will be given to the new amendments to the federal discovery rules, including discussion of the rules in practice during the first seven months after their effective date, emerging issues for litigants, and the intersection of these issues with the ethical rules governing the practice of law.  Whether you are new to your career or an experienced attorney, this course will help you analyze discovery obligations and strategies, and will help both outside litigators and in-house counsel understand how to act ethically throughout the discovery process.
